Jet-lagged and bleary-eyed. Daylight gets screwy up north and crossing the ocean always freaks me out. Waking up at 3am these days. The medical term for jet lag is “desynchronosis” and the internet says that recovery rates of 1 day per eastward time zone or 1 day per 1.5 westward time zones are fair guidelines. Strange when time and space gets unmoored. I need to strengthen my constitution.

Now I’m calculating the amount of time to remain in NYC before loading up a cargo van and heading south…
